Richardson is partly in Dallas County and part of Collin County.
Richardson has over one hundred thousand residents. Richardson public education
is provided by the Richardson and Plano ISD. Richardson got its name in
respect of Mr. E H Richardson a railroad employee. The city of Richardson
covers an area of over twenty five square miles. Richardson is located in
an area called the Telecom Corridor. Richardson was once a commuter town
but today Richardson has grown into a thriving employment area. Richardson
has over twenty miles of cycle paths and trails connect many Richardson
Parks. This modern approach encourages the workforce in Richardson to leave
the car at home and cycle to work throughout Richardson.
